ISTernship summer Program is an internship program that allows students to take part in various research projects at the institute of science and technology, Austria. To be eligible for a summer internship at IST Austria, you must be an international student in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program and you must have completed at least one year of studies. You also must be 18 years old or older when the internship begins. The International Summer Trimester offers a summer internship in Austria for all international students. The program is designed to help you establish a strong relationship with your host company and learn how to make an impact on the business. You will be working closely with your supervisor from the IST Service Office and your assigned host company. Benefits of ISTernship summer program.
- Beneficiaries will have access to health insurance
- Travel allowance and other costs of visa arrangements will be made available to successful candidates
- Compensation to be given to successful candidates monthly to cution the effect of cost of living in Austria.
- Students who complete a successful ten-week ISTernship will have the opportunity to be hired as full-time employees upon graduation.
Eligibility for ISTernship summer program 2022
- ISTerns must be enrolled in college undergraduate or masters in the above mentioned fields
- Successful candidates must be available to participate in the program full-time starting from May to September 2022.
- To be eligible for the program, the applicants must have completed fourth semesters in their bachelor degree studies
- PhD candidates are not eligible to apply for the fully-funded internship program.
Requirements
1. Statement of purpose or personal statement (see sample)- The essay should be one page with the following components:
- research experience
- research areas
- motivation behind your application
- professor(s) you are interested to work with
2. Curriculum vitae (see sample): This document should contain the following components
- state your educational background starting from high school
- list your Relevant work experience
- If you have additional qualifications, include all.
- list of publications (if any)
- Add all the scholarships or awards you have won (if any)
3. Academic transcripts

4.One or two referee’s contact information: the contact information of the referee needed are:
- Their names

- And valid email addresses
