This prestigious scholarship supports graduate students drawn from across the world with forty per cent of its funding coming from Oxford University and sixty per cent coming from generous donations made by supporters of the Fondation Hoffmann. Foundation Hoffmann is a Swiss-based charity, providing funding to projects addressing global problems in today’s society.

Eligibility criteria for 

  • The Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships are granted to those applying from outside of Oxford University excluding Weidenfeld-Hoffmann scholars. Students currently at Oxford are not eligible to apply.
  • Applicants should plan to return to their home country upon completion of their studies
  • In assessing applications, an important consideration would be your long-term career objectives and how you see your work on this program contributing to the improvement of public life in your country.
  • Before applying, make sure you have these qualities because candidates are assessed based on these qualities during the selection process.
  • Candidates who have deferred offers to start in 2022-23 are not eligible to be considered for this scholarship.

Weidenfeld-Hoffmann scholarships are offered for course lengths of one year, with an additional renewal process each year if your program is more than one year, but the renewal is based on an assessment of your academic progress

How to apply for the Oxford Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarship?

To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must first of all select “Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and leadership Program.” In the application form of the university of oxford scholarship. Then subsequently submit an application for a graduate study program. This should be done after selecting your study program under the January deadline.

The Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarship Statement must be uploaded with your graduate application form on or before the deadline.

You can be eligible for this scholarship if you are admitted to the course by January 31. If you do not receive an offer of admission, don’t worry! Some Applications received for this scholarship will be re-evaluated by the March deadline

Selected candidates will be scheduled for an interview which will be held online in April or May 2022
